Adeline "Addy" M. Belanger, 82, of Biddeford, passed away with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at home.

She was born in Guerette, Maine on March 10, 1941, a daughter of Leon and Germaine (Guerette) Lagasse. She attended Biddeford Catholic Schools.

Addy married the love of her life Conrad on November 22, 1962 at St. Andre's Church in Biddeford. She was a parishioner of St. Andre's Church for many years.

She also frequently went to Mass at St. Joseph's Convent in Biddeford, which was where Conrad and Addy renewed their vows on their 50th anniversary. Addy had many close relationships with the religious sisters and priests.

Addy was from the generation of hard work. She was employed by Kesslen Shoe, Pepperell Manufacturing and John Roberts. She also worked for Hannaford Supermarket and later with her husband Conrad for Belanger Homes of Biddeford.

Addy had many interesting hobbies. She had a creative side, making art paintings with many vibrant colors. She was an accomplished seamstress, enjoyed listening to music, time gardening and going to yard sales with her sisters. Most of all, she enjoyed playing ball and taking her dog Bella for walks, cherished her trips to Aruba, family gatherings, holidays and her grandchildren's sporting events and school activities.

She was predeceased by one grandson Nicholas Demeule.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Conrad Belanger, three children Cherylynn Markellos and husband David, Brian Belanger and wife Wendi and Judy Ann Demeule and husband Todd, nine grandchildren Kyle, Briana, Shane, Anthony, Heather, Patrick, Jillian and Justin and memere memere to three great grandchildren Tanner, Saylor and Bryson. She is also survived by five siblings Anne Marie Gagne, Normand Lagasse and wife Peggy, Phil Lagasse and wife Connie, Dennis Lagasse and wife Debbie and Debra Dunn and husband Bill and many nieces and nephews.
