Aime Donald Angers, 77, of Biddeford, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at MaineHealth Maine Medical Center - Biddeford.
Aime was born in Biddeford, on September 7, 1948, a son of Aristide and Agnes (Boucher) Angers. He grew up in Biddeford and attended St. Louis High School.
Aime enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he proudly and faithfully served our country, retiring after an impressive 26 years. Known to his fellow marines as "Frenchie," he was honorably discharged in 1994 in Jacksonville, North Carolina, achieving the rank of master sergeant.
After retiring, Aime continued to live in Jacksonville and worked on base as a civilian at the commissary. Not being one to sit still, Aime also found additional work at a recycling center, and with some fast-food restaurants. Throughout his many years with the marines, and for several years after, Aime was an avid runner. Without fail, he would run every day, both morning and evening.
Later in life, Aime returned to Biddeford and worked for the Shaw's supermarket chain.
Aime was a die-hard New England Patriots fan, as well as a fan of college football, with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish at the top of his list. He also had a love and appreciation for automobiles, and was known for being very meticulous with his own car, often washing and vacuuming it daily.
Aime was predeceased by his parents, Aristide and Agnes Angers; and by his brother Marc Angers.
He is survived by his two brothers, Luc Angers and wife Andrea, and Roch Angers and wife Colombe; by his sister, Helene Totos and husband Roman; by sister-in-law, Susan Angers; as well as by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
