Anita L. Santamore, 75, of Old Orchard Beach, passed away with her daughter by her side on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.

She was born in North Conway, New Hampshire on September 1, 1946, a daughter of Charles and Christine (Beau) Kimball. She graduated from Scarborough High School.

Anita married her husband Leonard on April 20, 1974. She was a loving wife who enjoyed being a home maker and raising her family.

Her hobbies included reading, word search puzzles along with knitting and crocheting. She spent time listening to music and playing computer games. But most of all, she enjoyed the time she spent with her husband Leonard until he passed on January 31, 2021.

She was predeceased by her husband Leonard Santamore Sr. and by her step son Leonard Santamore Jr.

She is survived by her daughter Debra Phiri and step children Michael Santamore, Clifford Santamore and wife Kathleen, Loriann Rouleau and husband David, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
