Anita M. Whitehead, 55, of Old Orchard Beach, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born in Lincoln, Maine on May 18, 1968, a daughter of George and Judith (Bubar) Harper. She graduated from Penobscot Valley High School, class of 1986.

Anita was a homemaker and raised her three children. In 2012, she met her fiancé James Weston in Portland and the couple moved to Old Orchard Beach.

Anita was employed by Shelly's in Old Orchard Beach for seven years until 2019.

Anitas's main focus in life was her family. They meant the world to her. She loved the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Many special memories were made that the family will cherish more so today since her passing. She will be sadly missed.

She was predeceased by her father George Harper.

She is survived by her mother Judith Harper, her fiancé James Weston, three children Ashley Speed and husband Gene, Darrell Carlow and Andrea Carlow and by seven grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Jazzmyne, Hunter, Connor, Amber, Anna, Damien and Maddox. She is also survived by three siblings Bonnie Morin and husband Gary, Dana Harper and Lynn Gary and husband Larry and nieces and nephews.
