Anne C. Cote, 81, of Biddeford, passed away Friday evening on February 2, 2024 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House.

She was born in Biddeford on August 29, 1942, a daughter of John and Claire (Leblond) Tremblay. She graduated from St. Louis High School, class of 1961.

Anne took great pride in her home. She loved raising her family and taking care of her son Daniel. She had a fascination with nature which began as a young child as she spent time with her dad outdoors. This passion grew as the family got older and many camping and boating trips began. Special memories were made on Moosehead Lake, the Saco River and Sebago Lake, just to name a few.

Anne's great love of the outdoors led her to lots of gardening and tree planting around her home. She enjoyed all animals, especially birds as she spent hours watching them in her screen house. She will be remembered as a caring and loving person who had a great love of her family, especially her grandchildren and her friends. She will be sadly missed.

Mrs. Cote was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Church in Biddeford.

She was predeceased by her husband Paul Cote in 2021 and by one sister Jacqueline Pinette whom she loved very much.

She is survived by her son Daniel Paquin and wife Lisa and grandchildren Andrew, Matthew and Lillian. She is also survived by siblings Ronald Tremblay and wife Nicole, Denise Neault and husband Vincent, nieces, nephews and long time friend Gerard Lavoie.
