Arthur W. Couture Jr., 78 of Saco ME, passed away on February 21, 2024 due to ongoing health complications.

Arthur, known as Pete by most, was born on May 22, 1945 to Yvette Lemay and Arthur Couture.

Pete graduated from Biddeford High in 1965, married sweetheart Dolores Lefebvre in 1967. They had three lovely daughters, Michele Gonnville, Chantel Estrella and Kelly Couture.

Pete worked at Pratt Whitney for 18 years and greatly enjoyed tinkering with his lawnmowers,  snowblowers and putting together model boats after his retirement.

He has survived by his wife, three daughters and his four grandchildren, Kayla Gonnville, Emma McGahey, Hayes Estrella, and Elizabeth McGahey.

While we lost our most beloved husband and dad, many have lost a family member, friend, and loved one. He was a hard working man who overcame many of life's obstacles. Family was always very important to him from watching and supporting his daughters basketball games to his grandchildren cheering and soccer.

There was so much more to him than just dad, though to us that was his greatest roll - he was also a friend, a coworker and colleague, a cousin, brother, a handyman, and the list goes on and on.

He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
