Brenda L. Shields, 81, of Saco, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, in Scarborough.

She was born in Rumford on September 20, 1942, a daughter of Claude and Mary (Connors) Linnell. She graduated from Fryeburg Academy.

Brenda worked for various restaurants in North Conway for 28 years. She was well known for being dependable and always willing to help anyone in need. She will be sadly missed.

She is survived by two children, her son Aaron Shields and wife Stacy, her daughter Samantha Shields and two grandchildren Emma and Benjamin. She is also survived by four siblings, Claude Linnell III, Gary Linnell and wife Louise, Elizabeth Paquette and husband Norman and Mildred Todd and several nieces and nephews.
