Claudette Levesque, 83, of Saco, passed away surrounded by her family Thursday morning on August 10, 2023 at home.

She was born in New Brunswick, Canada on February 15, 1940 a daughter of Roman and Anne (Boutot) Pelletier.

Claudette and her husband Gerard were married for 55 years and were the best of friends. They were married on June 27, 1959 in Canada. In 1970, the family moved to the United States to start a new chapter in life.

Claudette was employed in the Shoe Industry for many years. She also was a homemaker who loved taking care of her family.

Claudette enjoyed people. She loved to entertain her family and friends and was always the life of the party. Many special memories were made that will be passed on to future generations and she will be greatly missed.

Her hobbies included cooking and playing cards. She also liked dancing, listening to music, and playing lawn games.

She was predeceased by her husband Gerard S. Levesque on March 23, 2014 and by 10 siblings.

She is survived by her three children Jacques Levesque and wife Diane, Suzanne Nadeau and Lynn Walsh. Three grandchildren Ghislain and wife Katie, Brandon and wife Shannon, Nathan and wife Brittany, and two great grandchildren Carter and Harper. She is also survived by her sister Georgette Michaud and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to recognize the dedication, care, and 50 year friendship of Michel and Annette Lavallee and Jean-Luc and Lise Faucher. They would also like to recognize her neighbor Allyson Strout. Their help provided during the families time of need for Claudette helped her remain in her home until she passed. These kind acts will never be forgotten.

Visiting Hours will be from 11AM-1PM with a Funeral Service at 1PM on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Cote Funeral Home Chapel, 87 James Street, Saco, ME.
