Clifford R. Noiseux

Clifford R. Noiseux, 80, of Saco, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at St. Andre Healthcare in Biddeford.

He was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on November 14, 1942, a son of Edmund and Madeleine (Wilson) Noiseux.

How do you explain to anyone who did not know him, the kind, loving, overall good man Cliff was? He taught us all by example, and we are better people for it.

After graduating from high school, Cliff spent six years in the Rhode Island Army National Guard serving as a military policeman at Fort Gordon, GA.

He started into the work force as a lineman for Blackstone Valley Electric in Rhode Island making lifelong friends. Cliff transitioned from Rhode Island to Florida joining the Hollywood Florida Police Department. Cliff completed the police academy and also got a degree in Criminal Justice. He received the Outstanding Young Officer Award from 1973 to 1974. One main focus of his was working with high school students on the effects of drugs and alcohol.

Later in his career, Cliff served as a Security Specialist at Miramar High School in Florida. His presence made a positive difference to the faculty and students.

Cliff was an avid and competitive athlete with love of basketball, paddleball and baseball. He was a standout basketball player in high school and a champion paddle ball player at Garfield Street Beach, Florida.

Cliff's literary interests included Ernest Hemingway. He even was runner up in a Hemingway lookalike contest in Key West, Florida. Most of all, Cliff loved playing Santa in Hollywood Florida and in Rockland, Maine as he interacted with children of all ages.

Clifford was a kind and loving person. His happiest memories in life were spending time with family and friends and enjoying the beauty of nature. His courage shined through in his ability to endure his physical and heart felt pain. He was a beautiful soul who is now at rest and free. May your final journey be one of love, light and peace.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years Carlene Noiseux, children Gregory, Lisa and Sean and granddaughters Saiyje, Tatum and Chloe. He is also survived by sister Dorene and husband Thom, brother Kenneth and wife Roberta and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
