Clifton E. Junkins Jr.

Clifton Junkins, age 70, born August 29, 1954, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2024, surrounded by family who cared and love him dearly.

Clifton was brought into this world by his mother Carol S. (Fogg) Junkins and his father Clifton E. Junkins. He was raised alongside three brothers Patrick, Floyd, and Eugene and two sisters Sheila and Linda.

Clifton grew up and lived in Maine his entire life, only briefly living in North Carolina for two years until he decided to come back to Old Orchard Beach in Maine. He served his country in the United States Army for six years and afterward he enlisted in the Coast Guard and served for three years. Throughout his time in the military, he earned many awards for his service including a Certificate for Appreciation from the Citizens of Maine for his time in the Vietnam War and a Certificate of Recognition for his time serving in the Vietnam War.

Clifton was a devout man of faith who spent a great deal of time at the Anchor Baptist Church in Biddeford. His love for his faith was clear for all to see as he was known to read his bible every day and received a Certificate of Achievement for the Genesis Class of Study at Anchor Baptist Church.

Clifton had a love for working with timepieces whether they be grandfather clocks, coo-coo clocks, or watches. He was so interested in the craft he even owned a clock repair business while living in North Carolina. He also liked to play pool and happened to teach his younger brother Eugene the game and above all he loved his family.

He was predeceased by his parents Clifton and Carol Junkins.

He is survived by four sons Clifton E. Junkins III, Joshua L. Junkins, Timmy A. Junkins, and Eric Junkins, his three brothers Patrick H. Junkins, Floyd L. Junkins, and Eugene K. Junkins, and his two sisters Sheila Smith and Linda Green.
