Constance C. Mondor
Constance C. Mondor, 86, of Saco, passed away peacefully at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House on Sunday, April, 3, 2022, with family members by her side.
She was born in Biddeford on December 9, 1935, the daughter of Herve and Laurette (L'Heureux) Boisvert. She graduated from St. Andre's School in Biddeford.
On April 18, 1953, Constance married her husband Clifford Mondor at St. Andre's Church in Biddeford. They spent 50 years together until his passing on May 24, 2003.
Constance was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her family.
Her hobbies included bingo and shopping. Constance and Clifford traveled together all over the United States. Some of their most memorable trips were to Alaska and across the Atlantic Ocean to Europe. She also enjoyed spending time in Plant City, Florida with Clifford during retirement for 14 years.
She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Clifford R. Mondor, two daughters, Nancy Maynard and Sandra Mondor and a grandson Michael Mondor.
She devoted her life to being a loving wife and mother. She was blessed with a large family of 12 children. Mrs. Shirley (Jude) Thibodeau, Mrs. Claire (Gary) Lowell, Mr. Roger Mondor, Mr. Ron (Ute) Mondor, Mrs. Pat (Tom) Jordan, Mr. Rene (Sue) Mondor, Mrs. Denise (John) Bishop, Ms. Lynn Cebula, Mr. Rick (Lisa) Mondor, Mr. Ray (Laurie) Mondor, as well as 17 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Most Holy Trinity Church in Saco. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Biddeford. To view Constance's memorial page or leave an online condolence, please visit www.cotefuneralhome.com
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Constance's name to Good Shepherd Parish or St. James Catholic School.
