Daniel Hart Denike, 72, of Springvale passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Maine Medical Center in Biddeford.

Daniel was born in Brockton, Massachusetts on August 16, 1952, a son of James and Dorothy (Hurley) Denike. He grew up and was educated in Massachusetts.

Daniel worked in shoe manufacturing for most of his life, and was known for having a very strong work ethic.

Daniel was a longtime sports enthusiast, with New England sports at the top of his list.  He religiously followed the Patriots, Celtics, Bruins, and Red Sox.

He was predeceased by his parents, James and Dorothy Denike.

Daniel is survived by his sister Susan M. Denike of Florida, and by his brother David J. Denike of Maine, as well as by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
