Denise Paquette

Denise Paquette, 73, of Saco, passed away Thursday morning on December 22, 2022 at her son's home in Lyman.

She was born in Packington, Quebec on February 13, 1949, a daughter of Patrick and Edna (Morin) Dube.

At the age of 11, the family moved from Quebec to Biddeford, Maine. Denise went to Biddeford schools and graduated from Old Orchard Beach High School.

On June 29, 1968, she married her husband Roger Paquette and they raised three children.

She was a homemaker who loved her family and taking care of them. She also was employed by St. Andre's Convent for 20 years.

Denise had many hobbies. She liked to quilt, paint and go shopping. She also enjoyed traveling, going on vacation and camping with her family and friends. Some of her favorite family trips were in Disney and Hersey Park. Most of all, she loved to be with her family, lunches with her sisters on Fridays and the special time with her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.

Denise also had great faith and was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Church in Biddeford.

She was predeceased by her husband Roger Paquette in 2017 and three sisters, Monique Patoine, Lucie Bertrand and Fabienne Fortier, one brother Guy Dube and brother in law Jean M. Perron.

She is survived by her companion Maurice Guerrette, her three children Steve Paquette and wife Kerry, Lynn Littlefield and husband Shawn and Lisa Sink and husband Robert, eight grandchildren, Astachia, Melody, Alex, Emilee, Ryan, Owen, Alyssa and Madison and five great grandchildren Bella, Ry, Wes, Max and Warren. She is also survived by siblings Norm Dube and wife Nancy, Lucien Dube and wife Odette, Dennis Dube and wife Jane, Fabien Dube and wife Cherie, Patricia Perron, Lise Bertrand and husband Conrad and Celine Ball and husband Clayton, many nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be from 10:30AM-12:30PM Friday, December 30, 2022, at Cote Funeral Home Chapel, 87 James Street, Saco. A Funeral Mass will follow at 1PM at St. Joseph's Church in Biddeford. To view Denise's memorial page or leave an online condolence, please visit www.cotefuneralhome.com
