Obituary

Dennis R. Desrochers

Biddeford

Dennis R. Desrochers, 74, of Biddeford, passed away early Thursday morning on June 26, 2025 at home. His family was by his side.

He was born in Biddeford on May 29, 1951, a son of Gerard and Marie (Roberge) Desrochers. Dennis graduated from St. Louis High School, class of 1970.

On September 21, 1973, he married his wife Lena Allain and the couple started their family together.

From the generation of hard work, Dennis entered into the family business in 1970. He owned and operated the oil company, Desrochers Oil, until 2010 when his son Shawn took over and assumed responsibilities. Dennis cherished his customers, employees and co-workers. He spoke highly of these relationships and the friends he made right up until his passing. One of his favorite pastimes during work was coffee breaks with the guys.

Dennis served in the National Guard. During the summer, he volunteered for Camp Wabun and during the winter Dennis drove school busses. But most of all he, he loved the time spent with his wife, family and friends. He will be sadly missed.

He is survived by his wife Lena Desrochers, son Shawn Desrochers and grandson Jaxson Gerard Desrochers. He is also survived by brothers Normand Desrochers with partner Katerina, and Marc Desrochers with wife Joanne, by his sister Sue Daigle with husband David, as well as by many nieces and nephews.
