Dolores "Dolly" Nolette, 88, of Alfred and formerly of Old Orchard Beach, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021 in Scarborough.

She was born in New York City, New York on January 25, 1933, a daughter of Henry and Ida (Blanchette) Gagnon and moved to Maine at an early age. She graduated from Biddeford High School.

Dolores married her husband Donald on June 13, 1953. She was employed by Westpoint Stevens for 33 years, retiring in 1996. Dolores was an advocate for Local 305 and served as President and also as Vice President of the organization.

Dolly and her husband Don spent several winters in Winter Haven, Florida.

She was an avid bowler and a member of the Pepperell Bowling League.

Mrs. Nolette was a parishioner of Most Holy Trinity Church.

She was predeceased by her husband Donald on April 5, 2017 and by siblings Roger Gagnon, Rita Bineau and Jeanine Fournier.

She is survived by her son Ronald Nolette and his wife Catherine, grandson Stephen Nolette and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be from 4-7PM Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at Cote Funeral Home Chapel, 87 James Street, Saco. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11AM Thursday, May 6, 2021, at Most Holy Trinity Church. A Graveside Service will be at 11AM Tuesday, May 11, 2021 in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
