Doreen Miminos

Doreen Miminos, 74, of Saco, and formerly of Winchester, Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 21, 2022, at Southern Maine Healthcare in Biddeford.

She was born in Biddeford on August 10, 1948, a daughter of Robert and Teodora (Jankowski) Bedard.

Doreen graduated from Biddeford High School and also later from St. Francis College, class of 1970.

Earlier, Doreen taught English for the Biddeford school system. On October 11, 1980, she married her husband James and moved to Winchester, Massachusetts. Doreen continued to spend special occasions and summers at Camp Ellis in Maine with family and friends. Maine was where her heart was.

Doreen had many interesting hobbies. She enjoyed the time on the beach, boating in the ocean and reading a good book. Some of her most treasured memories were traveling with her husband James. She will be sadly missed.

She was predeceased by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, James Miminos and by two sisters Denise Bedard and Dolores "Dolly" Currier and husband Frank. She is also survived by her step father Paul Lempicki, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
