Doris G. Madore, 83, of Saco, passed away Saturday morning on June 26, 2021 at home peacefully with family by her side.
She was born in Sanford on December 8, 1937, the daughter of Donat and Helen (Furlotte) Baron. She attended Holy Family School in Sanford.
Doris married her husband Ralph on April 16, 1955 and recently celebrated 66 years of marriage to her devoted husband. She worked for Dr. Verrier's Dental office for 22 years.
She was quite the social butterfly staying active her entire life always enjoying what she loved most especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She always had a beautiful smile on her face and never complained about anything. Some of the hobbies she enjoyed were bowling, yard sales, bingo, lunch outings with her friends and making a batch of her "Grammy's Fudge or her peanut brittle" She loved taking trips to Oxford Casino and following the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.
Mrs. Madore was a member of the Fifty Plus Club in Biddeford and a parishioner of Good Shepherd Parish.
She was a loving and supportive wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She never missed any of her children's and grandchildren's activities or sporting events. She will be sadly missed, forever her family's angel and always in their hearts.
She was predeceased by five brothers, Roland Baron, Maurice Baron, Raymond Baron, Gerard Baron, and Robert Baron.
She is survived by her husband Ralph Madore, and three children Colleen Madore Pleau, Wayne Madore and his wife Charlene and James Madore and his wife Mary. She is also survived by seven grandchildren John Madore and his wife Jessica, Christine Crawford and her husband Josh, Ryan Pleau, Justine Madore, Cameron Madore, Caitlin Morse and her husband James and Brandon Madore and three great grandchildren Julian Morse, Dash Morse and Crew Morse.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11AM Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Southern Maine's Veteran's Cemetery in Springvale.
