Elaine F. McGonigle

Elaine F. McGonigle, 91, of Saco, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at home.

She was born in Saco on September 17, 1930, a daughter of Ernest and Elizabeth (Riley) Cantara.

Elaine graduated from Thornton Academy, class of 1950. She also graduated from Northeastern Business School in Portland.

She was employed by Biddeford Savings Bank for 25 years, retiring in 1989.

She was predeceased by her husband John P. McGonigle Jr. on December 31, 2007 and by two sisters Cynthia Polackwich and Mary Clark.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Burial will be private. She will be buried next to her husband John in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Saco. Arrangements are by Cote Funeral Home, Saco.
