Obituary

Elizabeth N. Hart

Ocean Park

Elizabeth N. Hart, 81, of Ocean Park, passed away peacefully at home on the morning of Saturday, April 11, 2026.

She was born in Lubec, Maine, on October 10, 1944, a daughter of Russell and Faye (Corey) Clark.

Betty was educated in local schools and later became an operations manager at Coastal Transportation where she was employed for 19 years. She also was employed as an accountant for 10 years before transitioning into homecare.

Betty met and married Randall Hart and shared many happy years until his passing in 2006. She later met her partner, Bill Morrison, and they shared a loving partnership together.

Betty and Bill spent a lot of time traveling. They always had somewhere to be, whether that was Chile, Peru, the Caribbean, Columbia, or Fort Lauderdale. They also enjoyed Ecuador, the Panama Canal, Amsterdam, Belgum, Sweden, Iceland, Ireland, and the Azores. They always had a story to tell about their destinations and enjoyed sharing with others.

Betty was the type of person to go above and beyond for anyone, regardless of whether they asked her to or not. She cared deeply for those around her. She was a member of the Red Hat Society in her younger days and enjoyed spending time with her "sisters".

Betty was an incredibly talented artist that worked with glass. Her stained-glass pieces took patience and skills that very few have. Some of her precious works are still being admired today.

She also was a lover of animals. In her youth, she had many dogs. As she got older, this transitioned to cats. Animals were always drawn to Betty's kind presence.

Betty's greatest joy was her nieces and nephews. She was proud of them all. She often thought about them and cherished receiving updates on their lives. She will be dearly missed.

She was predeceased by her parents: Russell and Faye Clark, and her husband: Randall Hart.

She is survived by her life partner: William "Bill" Morrison, and her niece: Melyssa DeHahn, and nephew: William DeHahn.
