Gary D. Snider

Gary D. Snider, 78, of North Waterboro, passed away on the morning of Thursday, April 30, 2026, in Scarborough.

He was born in Mount Vernon, Ohio on May 10th, 1947, a son of Jack and Le (Pruett) Snider. He attended Marysville high school and graduated class of 1965. After high school, he graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a bachelor's degree in psychology.

Gary loyally served his country in the Marine Corp from 1967 to 1969 and was deployed to Vietnam for 11 months. He was honorably discharged as a sergeant.

Gary had many professions throughout his life. He became a builder and was employed as a business manager for many years at Future Builders Inc. where he helped educate students with special needs.

Through mutual friends, Gary met the love of his life, Pauline Warg, in Colombus Ohio. They later married in 1990 and shared many wonderful years together.

Gary and Pauline both loved the outdoors and enjoyed hiking, backpacking, and tennis together. Spending time with friends and family was Gary's greatest joy and he will be missed by all who knew him.

Gary was predeceased by his parents: Jack and Le Snider.

Gary is survived by his wife: Pauline Warg, and his sister: Jackie Martin.
