George E. "Butch" Tardie, Jr., 80, of Scarborough, ME, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at the Maine Veterans Home in Scarborough. His parents, George E. Upon discharge, he entered the retail sales arena and thereafter held several management positions and ultimately established his own business on Cape Cod, MA. Butch loved Northern Maine and upon retirement returned there to hunt, fish, and relax where his heritage and relatives remain.
George was predeceased by his parents and eldest daughter Desi. He is survived by his wonderful wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, and numerous good friends and neighbors who are located throughout the United States.
