Gloria Ann Holbrook, 90, of Old Orchard Beach, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, December 3, 2023.

She was born in North Berwick on February 18, 1933, a daughter of Merrill and Geraldine (Hatch) Hilton. She graduated from Old Orchard Beach High School.

Gloria married her husband Kendrick W. Holbrook Jr. on May 21, 1952. The couple raised four children and lived in Cape Porpoise. Gloria worked in the cafeteria for the Kennebunk school system for many years. She enjoyed the students and her coworkers making many lasting memories that she cherished throughout the years. When her husband Kendrick passed away, she moved back to Old Orchard Beach.

Gloria had a kind heart and a great love of animals.

She was predeceased by her husband Kendrick and two sons Bryan and Adam Holbrook. She is also predeceased by siblings Carl Hilton, Malcolm Hilton and Barbara Mullen.

She is survived by two children Karynn McIntyre and Eric Holbrook, nine grandchildren Holly Card, Heidi Card, William Holbrook, Waylan Holbrook, Michael Holbrook, Amanda Graber, Corey Holbrook, Timothy Holbrook and Kenny Holbrook and by many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Burial will be in the spring at Evergreen Cemetery in Kennebunk.
