Helen V. Fournier
Helen V. Fournier, 98, of Saco, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024 in Scarborough.
She was born in Buxton on June 16, 1926, a daughter of Harold and Janet (Greenwood) Carll. She graduated from Samuel D. Hanson High School, class of 1943.
She married her husband Joseph on July 24, 1948.
Helen was employed as a key punch operator for Saco Lowell Shops in Biddeford from 1943 to 1950. She also worked for Union Mutual Insurance Company in Portland and Central Maine Power in Portland for several years.
Helen was a homemaker who loved taking care of her family and her home. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be sadly missed.
Helen had many interesting hobbies. She enjoyed the beach, swimming, walking and hiking. She used her creative side doing art projects, painting and gardening.
Mrs. Fournier was a parishioner of Good Shepherd Parish.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Fournier on February 21, 2017 and by one brother Harold L. Carll.
She is survived by two children Bonnie J. Harrington and husband Michael and Joseph N. Fournier. She is also survived by two grandchildren Tina Royce and husband Curtis and Tracy Fiengo, six great grandchildren Logan, Avianna, Summer, Bryan E., Charlotte and Dylan, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 12:00PM - 1:30PM Friday, September 13, 2024 with a Funeral Service at 1:30PM at Cote Funeral Home Chapel, Saco. Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Saco. To view Helen's memorial page or leave an online condolence please visit www.cotefuneralhome.com
