Huguette B. Roy, 74, of Biddeford, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at St. Patrick's Manor in Framingham, Massachusetts after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
Huguette was born in Packington, Quebec, Canada on June 23, 1949, one of eleven children born to Adelard and Marie-Ange (Pelletier)Beaulieu. She was educated at Ecole Marie-Immaculee, Notre Dame Du Lac and subsequently at the Ecole d'esthetiquede Quebec where she completed cosmetology training in 1967. At 20 years old, she moved to Biddeford. She married Normand Roy in 1972 and raised three loving children.
Huguette worked at John Roberts Clothiers and St. Josephs' Convent before retiring in 2013. She was well known for her strong work ethic and a relentless desire to help others while on the job. She excelled at several hobbies, including reading, completing cross word puzzles, baking, and gardening. Above all, Huguette's priority was her beloved family, with whom she spent time laughing and enjoying their company, especially her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, and siblings, Ghislaine Theriault, Hermel Beaulieu, Emilien Beaulieu, Rene Beaulieu, Paul-Aime Beaulieu, and Jean-Yves Beaulieu.
She is survived by her three children, Denis Roy and wife Christina, Caroline Heinselman and husband Brian, and Patrick Roy, and her grandchildren, Vanessa, Bryce, and Brayden. She is also survived by her siblings, Colette Sylvain and husband Jean-Guy, Danielle Parent, Normande Paquet and husband Camil, and Diane Morin and husband Marc-Aurele, and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be from 4-7PM Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Cote Funeral Home Chapel, 87 James Street, Saco. The Funeral Service will be at 11AM Friday, April 19, 2024 at Cote Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Biddeford.
