Obituary

Jared J. Eskedahl

Jared J. Eskedahl, 44, of Saco Maine and formerly of Plainville Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, February 5, 2023.

He was born in Brockton, Massachusetts on November 3, 1978, a son of Herbert Eskedahl and Lesley Tarte. He graduated from Bishop Feehan High School in Attleboro, Massachusetts and from Westfield State University. Jared was a standout athlete on the baseball diamond.

Jared was an entrepreneur and was self employed.

Jared had many interests. He was an avid fan of all New England sports teams. The family dogs were also a special part of his life. Many hours were spent enjoying hikes and time outdoors. But nothing compared to his family and the time they spent together. Vacationing at the family's summer home near the beach, and the special bond made with his grandparents were at the top of his list. His love for his parents, siblings and nieces and nephews will never be forgotten. With Jared's passing we remind others that his life is to be celebrated. Although we will miss him everyday, especially his smile and his ability to make us laugh, he will forever remain in our hearts.

He is survived by his grandparents Carmella and James Tarte, his parents Lesley and Paul McGrath, and Herbert and Debbie Eskedahl.

He is also survived by siblings Jenna MacPhee and husband Brian, Evan Florenzo and husband Tom, Luke McGrath and wife Mallory, and several nieces and nephews. He was also very close with his Uncle Mike and the Jackson Family.
