Jean Luc Fecteau, 72, of Biddeford, ME
God called him into service on 11-18-23 at home.
He was born in Baker Lake, New Brunswick, Canada on 5-9-51, oldest son of Leandre and Armande (Sylvain) Fecteau.
Raised and schooled in Canada till the age of 16, when the family moved to Maine.
Jean was married to Diane Y. Pelchat on 4-5-74, at St. Joseph's Church.
Jean was a drywaller at heart, he did try a few different avenues always returning to his first love drywall. (F.R.O.G. Drywall)
It was an art to him, a gift from God.
During his drywall career he had the opportunity to meet many contractors and homeowners of all walks of life.
Jean loved fishing on the Saco where he had his boat for 25 + years. He always said it was his time with God.
He was a 4th degree Knight of Columbus Old Orchard Beach where he held many different positions.
His favorite charity was the selling of Christmas Trees each year.
He is survived by his wife of 49 + years (Diane). Sister Murielle and Terry Belanger, brothers Bert, Lucien and Celeste, Rheo and Lisa, Gilles and Lori, and Roxanne. In laws Robert and Beverly Pelchat, Rita and Walter Golojuch, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces.
He was predeceased by his parents Leandre Fecteau, Armande Sylvain Fecteau, 2 brothers Raymond and Clermont (Joe), 3 nephews Patrick, Matthew Fecteau and Mark Corriveau.

A Funeral Mass was held at St. Joseph's Church 178 Elm St. Biddeford, December 2, 2023 at 11am.
* A graveside gathering with committal prayers will take place at 11:00am on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford.
