Jeanne T. Loignon

Jeanne T. Loignon of Saco passed away on May 14, 2023 at Seal Rock Healthcare in Saco. She was born in Biddeford, ME on October 4th, 1934, to Raoul and Dolores Lemieux Loignon. She attended St. Joseph's Elementary and graduated from St. Joseph High School, Class of 1953.

Jeanne worked in retail during her early years, including her Dad's store on Beach Street in Saco. She married Andy Caron in 1954 and together had three children Lynn, Bill and Dave. She also raised her sister Jocelyn after her Dad's death in 1960.

Family was everything to Jeanne as she was a stay-at-home Mom when her children were younger. She then returned to the workforce, initially in retail then as a Dental Assistant and later in insurance, retiring from The Guard Insurance Group as Human Resources Manager in 1999.

Jeanne was involved in many civic activities, including the Biddeford High School Band Boosters, the Insurance Women of Portland, and a volunteer at both Southern Maine Medical Center and the Ogunquit Playhouse.

In retirement years she traveled extensively to CA to visit her daughter and her two grandchildren, and her sister Dorothy, as well as trips to Europe, Canada and throughout the United States.

She is survived by her daughter Lynn Caron of San Diego, CA, her two sons William Caron and wife Robyn of Wells, ME and David Caron and wife Loretta of Belmont, NH. She will be missed by grandchildren Quinn Bohannon, Rose Bohannon, Julia Bubar and husband Ryan, Samantha Lewandowski and husband Matthew, Erica Croteau and husband Gregory, Nicholas Caron and wife Jessica, Allison Caron and Rebecca Caron and her fiancée Kevin Johnston, her seven adored great grandchildren, Kennedy, Nolan, Avery, Cohen, Emerson, Austin and Ames, as well as her sister Jocelyn Crones.

Jeanne is predeceased by her parents, her brother Ralph Loignon, her sister Dorothy Bissonnette, her Godmother/Aunt Lillian Murphy and many cousins.

Per her request there will be no calling hours. Burial will be private at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Saco.
