Jeannette A. Goulet, 98, of Arundel, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2024, in Scarborough.

She was born in Arundel on January 12, 1926, a daughter of Ernest and Philomene (Jalbert) Labbe.

On August 3, 1946, she married her husband Emile Goulet. The couple raised their children together.

Jeannette was from the generation of hard work. She was employed by White Star Laundry in Biddeford for several years. She also worked for York Heel, Nike and as a hairdresser for her sister's salon in Lawrence, Massachusetts.

Jeannette had many hobbies. She was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking and did crossword puzzles. She used her creative side with arts and crafts which included crocheting items for the family. These items are being cherished even more today with her passing.

Family meant the most to Jeannette. She loved going out to breakfast and shopping with her children each week. Sunday dinners, special occasions and holidays were the best. She will be sadly missed.

Mrs. Goulet was a parishioner of St. Philip Church in Lyman.

She was predeceased by her husband Emile Goulet on March 9, 1999 and by siblings Roland, Normand, Andre, Raymond, Wilfred, Gerald, Ronald, Alice and Irene.

She is survived by four children Lucille Prescott, Roland Goulet and wife Sally, Joanne Gonthier and husband Blaine and Armand Cyr and wife Kathleen. She is also survived by five grandchildren Mark, Jeffrey, Cheryl, Michelle and David, eight great grandchildren Brady, Josh, Mason, Jason, Aubrey, Abigail, Tyler and Emilee, two siblings Conrad Labbe, Pauline Labbe, many nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be from 4-7PM Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Cote Funeral Home Chapel, 87 James Street, Saco. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM Thursday, September 5, 2024 at St. Philip in Lyman. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Biddeford.
