Joan M. Lamirande, 84, of Saco, passed away early Sunday morning on August 15, 2021 at home.

She was born in Biddeford on March 13, 1937 a daughter of Andrew and Leona (Laferriere) Padhaisky.

Joan worked various jobs throughout the community. She was also a homemaker who loved raising her eight children.

Her hobbies included knitting, playing cards, going to bingo and making jigsaw puzzles.

Mrs. Lamirande was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Church in Biddeford, Good Shepherd Parish.

She was predeceased by her husband Conrad Lamirande in 2006, two sons Timothy Lamirande and Raymond Lamirande, grandson Matthew and siblings Nick, Albert, Joseph and Marian.

She is survived by six children, Diane Doyon and husband Richard, Joseph Lamirande, Jacqueline Looke and significant other Howard, Carol Lamirande and significant other Dave, Leeann Maines and husband Greg and Jennifer Wade and husband Thomas. She is also survived by five grandchildren Amy, Tracy, Courtney, Aaron and Katrina and four great grandchildren Olivia, Dante, Issaah and Dominique, nieces, nephews and longtime close friend Matilda.
