John S. Panteleakos

John S. Panteleakos, 83, of Saco, passed away early Sunday morning on June 25, 2023 at Southern Maine Healthcare in Biddeford.

He was born in Flomohori, Laconia, Greece on May 13, 1940, a son of Steven and Kiriakoula (Rizeakos) Panteleakos and came to the United States at the age of seven.

John graduated from Thornton Academy, class of 1960. He started his career at Atlantic Precision Screw in Biddeford working there for 42 years, retiring in 2002.

John enjoyed hunting, fishing and growing vegetables in his garden.

He was predeceased by two siblings Michael Panteleakos and Patricia Panteleakos.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sharon (Brewer) Panteleakos, one son Michael Panteleakos and wife Maureen. He is also survived by siblings Toni Panteleakos Makaris and husband Dimitrios and Charles "Dino" Panteleakos and several nieces and nephews.
