John George Shoureas

John George Shoureas, Sr.,75, passed away March 20, 2023 at 4:08 pm in Burlington, North Carolina.

He is survived by his three sons, Christopher, Michael, and Patrick; 2 grandsons, Joseph and Constantinos; and a granddaughter, Antonia.

John is preceded in death by his father, George Stephen Shoureas and his mother, Bessie Canaris and his son John George Shoureas Jr.

He attended trade school at Suburban Tech as well as Long Island Drafting before attending Hofstra University. John enjoyed fine woodworking and carving, building boats, hunting, fishing, and sailing. Dirt bike riding and gun detailing were also hobbies he enjoyed.

His ashes are to be scattered at his place of birth and childhood in Maine.
