Judith A. Diamant, 80, of Saco and formerly of Florida, passed away last Wednesday evening on July 21, 2021, in Scarborough.

She was born in Dover, New Hampshire on June 23, 1941, a daughter of Henry and Evelyn (Bennett) Tibbetts.

Judith was employed by Republic Management in Somersworth, New Hampshire for several years. She retired and moved to Florida with her husband Edward (Tom). They were a big part of the Sundance Community in Zephyrhills, Florida. Judy was always willing to organize an event for the entire community. By doing this, she made many friends and long lasting relationships that she cherished. She will be sadly missed.

In October of 2019, she moved to Maine to be with her granddaughter Tarsha and her great grandchildren.

Her hobbies included reading, cooking and traveling.

Most of all, she loved her family and friends and the time they spent together, especially with her great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her brothers Roland Tibbetts and Alan Tibbetts and her sister Nancy Trask.

She is survived by her son Roland Hoitt, granddaughter Tarsha Hanson and six great grandchildren Alexandrea, Joslyn, Hayley, Ciarra, Keagan and Jeremiah. She is also survived by her sister Joyce and husband Roland Tanguay, sister Ellen and husband Rich Perrault, brother Reginald and wife Louise Tibbetts, brother Donald and wife Christine Tibbetts, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws who were her family.

She will be laid to rest next to her husband Tom in Bushnell Military Cemetery in Florida, at a later date.
