Obituary

Judy K. Lamontagne

Saco

Judy K. (Lamb) Lamontagne, age 73, passed away on September 9, 2025 at Maine Medical Center in Portland. She finally succumbed to her multi-year battle with lung disease, surrounded by family and friends.

Judy was born in Biddeford, on March 23rd, 1952, a daughter of Gerard Lamb and Delores (St. Pierre) Lamb.

She grew up on Meetinghouse Road with six siblings and many other children in the neighborhood, which lent itself to many adventures and memories. She would later attend reunions where many of these same children showed up, now in their 60's and 70's. She was a graduate of Biddeford High School, class of 1970.

Judy was married to her husband and best friend, Roger Lamontagne for 36 years. She had two children, Michael and Shawn Tanguay. Michael gave her three grandchildren: Mason, Grace, and Aiden. Shawn gave her one grandchild, Eveca and one great-grandson, Rome. They all filled her with pride and happiness. She also came to know and love Michael's wife Jen's children, Jayme and Emma as well as her whole extended family.

Staying active was always a priority in her life and she enjoyed boating and fishing with Roger. You could also find her at the gym, walking, biking, skiing, gardening, and anything which got her outside. She could also be happy in her chair reading a good book. Judy especially loved connecting with her sisters to work on craft projects like rug hooking and quilting. She also enjoyed volunteering with the Biddeford free clinic, American Red Cross, and Saco Food Pantry.

Judy was predeceased by her father: Gerard Lamb and her sister: Joanne Usher.

Judy is survived by her husband: Roger Lamontagne, her son: Michael and his wife Jen, her son: Shawn, her mother: Delores Lamb, her siblings: June Dionne, Joyce Lamb, Jim Lamb and his wife Sue, Jeff Lamb and his wife Gail, Joe Lamb, and her beloved grandchildren.
