Karen Ann Hutchins

Karen Ann Hutchins (née Boissonneault), of Biddeford, Maine, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2025, after her battle with ALS. Born on July 26, 1954, in Biddeford, she was the daughter of the late Adrien Boissonneault and Theresa Dube.

Karen devoted over 46 years of her life to nursing, caring for others with the same warmth, strength, and compassion she gave so freely to those around her. She was known for her kind heart, her infectious laugh, and her signature sarcastic sense of humor that could bring a smile even in the toughest moments.

She was the proud and loving mother of her son, Kris Hutchins, and a devoted grandmother to her two granddaughters, Ashlyn Hutchins and Katana Hutchins. Karen is also survived by her sisters, Diane Provencher and June Fennell; her brothers, Peter Boissonneault and Michael Boissonneault; as well as many extended family members, friends, and former colleagues who will forever cherish her memory.
