Laurier "Larry" Pelletier of Pittsfield NH formally of Derry NH died Monday December 11th at Granite VNA Hospice House in Concord, NH after a period of declining health.
He was born on, December 31st 1946 in Packington, Quebec Canada.
Larry loved music and especially loved the fiddle, guitar, spoons and harmonica. He enjoyed spending time outdoors in nature and you would often find him outside in his yard tinkering. He loved fishing, a good whiskey and most of all spending time with his family. Larry loved a good dad joke and was a jokester to the very end which brought much comfort to his family. He loved going back home to Canada to visit his family and would bring his wife and children every year. Many great memories where made during those trips especially at the cabins on Lac Jerry.
He was very kind, funny, sweet, caring and selfless and loved his children and family like no other. He was a respected business owner and carpenter. He taught his three sons the trade he loved and excelled at.
Larry was one of 17 children and was preceded in death by his parents George and Georgette (St. Pierre) Pelletier, His first wife Michele (Ouellet) Pelletier and recently his second wife Mariette (Lavoie) Pelletier and one Granddaughter Sydney Jo Pelletier, as well as other treasured family members too numerous to name.
He leaves behind his beloved four children, his three sons, David Boucher and Fiancé Melissa, Stephane Pelletier and Wife Heather, Glenn Pelletier and Fiancé Andrea and one Daughter Marie Josee (Pelletier) Hodson and her Husband Joshua; his eleven Grandchildren, David Jr, Stephanie, Michelle, Julianna, Katelynn, Ashleigh, Samantha, Aidan, Tiffany, Alexandre and Gabriella; his four Great Grandchildren, Olivia, Averie, Adalynn and Raegan.
Assisting the family with arrangements is the Roan Family Funeral Home – Still Oaks Chapel in Epsom.
Services will be held at Cote Funeral Home located at, 87 James St in Saco, Maine on Sunday, December 17th. Visiting hours are from 11:00am to 12:00pm, with a Funeral Service beginning at 12:00pm. There will be a remembrance meal following the services which will be communicated at a later time.
