Linwood A. Noel, 82, of Biddeford, passed away comfortably at Southern Maine Medical Center on February 5, 2024, after years of struggling with lung and kidney complications.

Lenny was born in Portland on April 14, 1941, a son of Frederick and Anne (Willey) Noel.  He grew up in South Portland, and graduated from South Portland High School.  Lenny spent time in the Navy as a young adult and then went to work in construction, specializing in iron work.

Lenny married the love of his life, Gloria Levier, on July 23, 1960.  In his younger days he enjoyed watching horses at the track.  He also loved spending time fishing, hunting, going to Sebago Lake, enjoying a Patriots game, an action movie, or spending time with his family watching some reality TV.  He loved to make people laugh always trying to crack jokes to ease any serious situation and absolutely loved his grandkids and his dogs (his latest love – Gizmo).

Lenny is predeceased by his parents, Fredrick and Anne Noel, his eldest daughter Josie who passed away in 2016, and his Aunt Eileen Noel who raised him from a child.

Lenny is survived by his wife Gloria of 66 years, by his daughter Stacy, his grandchildren, Ashley, Megan, and Loki, and his great-grandchildren, James, Madeline, and Caroline.

Burial is private.  A celebration of Lenny's life will take place at 1:00pm on May 12, 2024, at Fort Williams State Park, Cape Elizabeth.
