Lottie A. Bragdon, 78, of Portland, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at MaineHeatlh Maine Medical Center Portland.

She was born in Waterville on July 20, 1948, a daughter of Lester and Evangeline (Crosby) Robinson.

Lottie grew up in Vassalboro and graduated from Erskine Academy, class of 1966.

Lottie was employed by the State of Maine after graduating high school. She worked in the Labor Department for 20 years and as a Career Counselor for the last 15 years of her career.

On May 22, 1993, she married her husband Donald Cyr. The couple spent the last 32 years living happily in Portland.

Lottie was very creative. She enjoyed arts and crafts, writing poems, photography and gardening. Most of all, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Her three cocker spaniels dogs had a special place in her heart. She will be sadly missed.

She was predeceased by her brother Lester Robinson.

She is survived by her husband Donald Cyr, daughters Jodi Bragdon and husband Jim Niemi and Bonnie Bragdon, grandchildren Jennifer, Jessica, Joseph and Damion and four great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Nancy Robinson.

Services are private. Arrangements are by Cote Funeral Home, Saco.
