Lucette G. Valentino

Biddeford

Lucette G. Valentino, 94, of Biddeford and formerly of Saco, passed away early Monday morning on November 27, 2023 at home.

She was born in Biddeford on January 8, 1929, a daughter of Arthur and Amazalie (Nicol) Remillard. She graduated from St. Andre's High School in Biddeford.

On November 5, 1948, she married her husband Richard. She was a homemaker and also worked with her husband at his law firm. They lived on the Ferry Road in Saco for 48 years.

She has a great love of the water and the sunshine, enjoying Biddeford Pool and 35 years on Sebago Lake.

She was an accomplished seamstress making many Saco Jet uniforms, Halloween costumes and back to school clothes for the children.

She was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed.

She was predeceased by her husband Richard E. Valentino on January 22, 2013 and by five siblings Jean, Jackie, Madeleine, Claire and Camille.

She is survived by three daughters Deborah Chwalek, Linda Valentino and husband Curtis Scamman, Vicky Valentino and granddaughter Kate Scamman. She is also survived by two step grandchildren Joe and Libby, four step great grandchildren Hannah, Mason, Wesley and Stella, one sister Yolande "Babe" Roy and several nieces and nephews.

A Gathering prior to the Funeral Mass will be held at a breakfast at Most Holy Trinity Church Parish Hall from 10AM - 11AM Thursday. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Most Holy Trinity Church in Saco. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Biddeford.
