Lucie Marie Dupont, 77, of Old Orchard Beach, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at home.

She was born in Shawinigan, Quebec, Canada on June 12, 1947, a daughter of Armand and Yvette (Vezina) Dupont. She was educated in Canada.

Lucie came to the United States at the age of 18 and settled in Biddeford. She worked in various industries including Pepperell Manufacturing, Fairchild and Erwin Industries.

Lucie had many interesting hobbies. She liked to dance, bowl and ice skate to name a few.

She had a great love of her community. She volunteered for Westbrook Skating Rink and Saco Station for transportation for many years.

Lucie was a generous person and was full of life. She could make everyone smile and always thought of others and put them before herself. Most of all, she loved spending time her family, friends and pal Zoe. She will be sadly missed.

She was predeceased by her siblings Andre Dupont, Jean-Pierre Dupont and Paul Dupont.

She is survived by two sisters in law Violette Jordine and Nicole Dupont and by her loving nieces and nephews.
