Marcel Valliere

Biddeford

On Sunday March 14 ^th , Marcel Valliere, 83 of Biddeford, passed away peacefully at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House.

He was born November 9 1937 in Biddeford to the late Adalard and Jeanne Boisvert Valliere. Marcel was the thirteenth of fourteen kids. He worked for the Biddeford DPW for 35 years before retiring. Once retired, Marcel became a crossing guard at the corner of West Street and Hill Street where he would work for the next 24 years. He loved to see the kids faces going to and from school and would say they always seemed happier coming out of school, especially on Friday.

He is survived by his son Christopher Valliere and wife Keri of Lunenburg MA, his grandson Justin Valliere and his wife Isabele of Leominster, MA and his granddaughter Jordan Valliere also of Leominster, MA. He is also survived by his sister Lucille Hebert of Biddeford as well as several nieces and nephews.

Due to the current pandemic, funeral services will be private.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cote Funeral Home 87 James St. Saco.
