Marie Mae Delekto, 93, of Saco, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, after a brief illness.

She was born on February 14, 1930 in St Agatha, Maine to Anselm and Ida (Boucher) Raymond. She was a graduate of St. Andre High School in Biddeford, Maine and St. Mary's General Hospital School of Nursing in Lewiston, Maine.

A resident of Saco since 1963, she was predeceased by her husband, Andrew in 2005.

She is survived by her son Mark (Debra) of Leland, NC, her daughters Ann Patterson (Keith) of Saco and Katherine Doyon (Steve) of Loudon, NH, and her sister Angelique Gregoire of Biddeford. Also left to cherish her memory are her five grandchildren, Sam (Sean), John (Lauren), Matthew (Marlee), Nicole, and Michelle and four great grandchildren, Charlotte, River, Denver, and Andrew.

A person of deep faith, Marie took great joy in her family, her garden and baking for friends and neighbors.

Marie's family would like to thank Beacon Hospice and Kennebunk Center for Health & Rehabilitation for the care they gave Marie at the end of her life.

Visitation will be from 11:00AM – 12:00PM Tuesday, June 13, 2023, with a Funeral Service at 12:00PM at Cote Funeral Home Chapel, 87 James Street, Saco.
