Mary Barbara Helen Giguere, 77, of lifelong resident of Biddeford, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023, at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

She was the youngest in the family, born in Biddeford on July 25, 1945, a daughter of Francis and Pauline (LaBelle) Lavigne. She was educated from Biddeford schools.

Mary Barbara married her husband Laurent in 1976.

She was employed by Textile Manufacturing in Biddeford for 30 years, retiring as an inspector.

Her hobbies included making puzzles, doing word search and watching old movies.

She was predeceased by siblings Diane Griswald, Shirley Lavigne and John Paul Lavigne.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Laurent D. Giguere and daughters Lisa Giguere and husband Dale Blanchard of Austin, Texas and Ann Giguere and partner Christopher Davitt of Chicopee, Massachusetts.
