Michael P. Belanger, 71, formerly of Old Orchard Beach, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Lakeland Reginal Healthcare in Lakeland Florida.

Michael was born on March 29, 1955, a son of Gerard and Georgette (Roy) Belanger. He was born and raised in Saco alongside his three siblings and was educated in local schools.

From a young age, Michael had a fierce love for cars, especially antique cars. He would often work on them and enjoyed going to car shows where he could speak with like-minded people.

Later in his life, Michael was employed at Shaw's as a supervisor where he worked diligently for many years until he retired in 2008. He then relocated to Florida where he spent his remaining days.

Michael met James "Jim" Williams and together they shared many wonderful years together. They greatly enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Michael will be missed by all who knew him.

Michael was predeceased by his mother: Georgette (Roy) Belanger, his father: Gerard Belanger, and his two brothers: Roger Belanger and wife Loraine and Daniel Belanger and wife Paulette.

Michael is survived by his partner: James Williams, his sister: Annette Cleary and husband Michael, his niece: Danielle Belanger, and his nephews: Joshua Belanger and Keith Beaulieu and wife Veronica and children.
