Michael Patrick Lucas
Formerly of Biddeford
Michael Patrick Lucas, 41, of York and formerly of Biddeford, passed away from his battle with cancer on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Biddeford.
He was born in Waltham, Massachusetts on August 12, 1983, a son of Robert G. Lucas and Charleen E. Owings.
At the age of six, the family moved to Biddeford where Michael went to school and graduated from Biddeford High School.
Michael was a go getter from an early age. Starting at the age of 10, he held multiple small jobs, always willing to make a dollar. This mentality of hard work continued throughout his life as he owned and operated Lucas Paving Services at the age of 18. He cherished his business and the relationships he made throughout the community.
Michael had many interesting and thrilling hobbies. He would skydive, parasail and find a basketball court to shoot some hoop anywhere he could. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, snowmobiling, dirt bike riding and riding on ATVs. Even through his troubled times he kept his personality and was still considered by many as a jokester.
Most of all, Michael loved to spend time with his family and friends. He was known as a caring and generous person who would be there if you needed. As his family said, "he will always be loved and never forgotten". He will be sadly missed by many.
He was predeceased by his brother Robert Christopher Lucas and step father Norman Sardella.
He is survived by his son Dylan Lucas, his father Robert G. Lucas, his mother Charleen Sardella, his sister Cynthia Lee Lucas and nephews Robert and Michael and nieces Maria Rose and Maria Isabella.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 1PM Friday, March 28, 2025, at St. Joseph's Church in Biddeford. Burial will be private. To view Michel's memorial page or leave an online condolence, please visit www.cotefuneralhome.com
