O'Neil "Neil" Morin, 82, of Lyman, passed away Thursday evening on September 19, 2024 in Scarborough.

He was born in Saco on November 24, 1941, a son of Denis and Zelia (Berube) Morin. Neil was educated from Thornton Academy in Saco. He served his country in the United States Army.

On February 18, 1961, he married his wife Frances and they raised three children together.

Neil was from the generation of hard work. Established in 1970, he owned and operated Neil's Motors in Biddeford for 30 years until the year 2000. The business is still family owned and operated to this day by his son Steven and wife Michelle. Neil also worked for PM Construction from 2000 until the year 2016, when he retired.

Neil was devoted to his family, friends and his community. He was a member of the Masons and Kora Shriners, using his leadership skills serving as potentate. He was a member of the fraternal organization Scottish Rite and a past member of the Biddeford Saco Rotary Club where he was a recipient of the Paul Harris Fellowship award. He felt very fortunate to travel with his wife and family to numerous destinations within the United States and throughout the world, whether it was a family trip or an organization based event. Many special memories were made that the family will hold on to and cherish forever. He will be sadly missed.

He was predeceased by one son Charles Morin, two brothers and seven sisters.

He is survived by his wife Frances (Day) Morin, son Phillip Morin and wife Amy and son Steven Morin and wife Michelle. He is also survived by seven grandchildren Benjamin, Thomas, David, Corey, Alex, Marina and Mallory, four great grandchildren Grace, Ryan, Maverick and Charli, nieces and nephews.
