Patricia J. Descoteaux, 94, of Old Orchard Beach, passed away early Tuesday morning on March 19, 2024, at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford.

She was born in Biddeford on Easter Sunday, March 31, 1929, a daughter of Gerald and Margaret (Condon) Nason. She grew up beginning in Saco, later in Biddeford, and was educated from Biddeford High School.

Patricia married her husband Lionel on September 27, 1947. The couple built their home in 1947 bit-by-bit as money became available, and Patricia still occupied the same home until her passing. Much of Patricia and Lionel's workmanship and design in the home is still being admired by family today.

Patricia was a homemaker who loved her family and taking care of them. She cherished the time they spent together, and was blessed with many grandchildren, great grandchildren and even a great-great granddaughter.

Patricia and Lionel took many road trips, including motorcycle rides through the countryside. They spent many weekends camping and boating, and even packed up their boat with camping gear to spend the night on the islands directly off the coast of Old Orchard Beach. She also was an avid reader of the daily paper, worked on crossword puzzles, listened to Irish music and loved to watch the Irish Rovers TV show.

She was predeceased by her husband Lionel Descoteaux on March 16, 2003, and by two sons Gerald Descoteaux and Richard Descoteaux. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Judge Gerald Nason, Francis Nason, Mary Banker, and her twin who passed away at birth.

She is survived by her son Robert Descoteaux and wife Susan; her daughter Helen Descoteaux; grandchildren, Alison, Lisa, Richard Jr., Lori-Ann, Robert Jr., Adam and Zachary; great grandchildren, Nathan, Matthew, Tyler, Richie, Cady, Callum, Leah, Hailey, Harper, Collins, Cameron, Colton, Willow, Makayla, Logan and Mason; and great great granddaughter Gabby.  She is also survived by her brother-in-law Paul Descoteaux and wife Mona, sister-in-law Jane Descoteaux, daughter-in-law Lucienne Descoteaux, as well as by several nieces and nephews.
