Pauline D. Camire

Pauline D. Camire, 66, of Saco, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.

She was born in Biddeford on July 31, 1958, a daughter of Paul and Rachel (Milliard) Ruel. She graduated from Thornton Academy where she played basketball and volleyball.

On September 16, 1977, she married her husband Roland Camire Jr. The couple had two daughters together.

Pauline was from the generation of hard work. She was employed by various companies including Herman Shoe, Nike and Shape. Most recently for the past 15 years she worked for Saunders Electronics in South Portland.

Her hobbies included music, dancing and jigsaw puzzles. She enjoyed a good story on Lifetime and Hallmark stations on television. The family remembers the good times, get togethers and special occasions and even eating out at the Clambake. She loved her family the most and their dog Palsy.

She is survived by her husband Roland Camire Jr., two daughters Sally Lambert and husband Jon and Lisa Camire and wife Megan, four grandchildren Brittney Burnham and husband Dustin, Lauren Smith, Alyssa Lambert and Alexis Smith and one great granddaughter Lina. She is also survived by siblings Linda Lapierre and husband Jerry, Jen Camire and husband Michael and Michael Ruel and wife Stephanie, nieces and nephews.
