Obituary

Priscilla A. Lauzon

Biddeford

Priscilla A. Lauzon, 81, of Biddeford, passed away peacefully in the early hours of Saturday morning, October 21, 2023.

Born in Biddeford on April 21, 1942, she was the cherished daughter of Ralph and Jeannette (Gagne) Sayer. Pris was a proud graduate of St. Andre's High School, class of 1960.

Priscilla's love story began at a school dance, where she met her high school sweetheart. On November 24, 1960, she exchanged vows with her beloved husband, Roger Lauzon, at St. Andre's Church.

Priscilla dedicated herself to raising her family. Her professional journey included extensive years in the Real Estate industry and 20 years working alongside Matthew Goldfarb Esq. in Portland, culminating in a well-deserved retirement in 2003.

Beyond her career, Priscilla was an active member of Good Shepherd Parish and her local community. You could find her playing domino games at the recreation center with her friends and neighbors, or you could find her in the bleachers attending every single baseball game for her grandsons, trips to the casino specifically the slot machines, and watching plays at the Ogunquit Playhouse. Her passions extended to water aerobics, and alongside her husband, she explored the wonders of Hawaii, embarked on an exciting bus trip to New Orleans and went on numerous road trips to Canada.

Priscilla's enduring legacy is marked by her infectious smile, a reflection of the joy she found in spending time with her beloved husband, family and friends. Wintering in Florida with Roger, they created cherished memories on favorite beaches like Siesta Key and Nokomis, basking in the sun and listening to the sound of the ocean.

She was preceded in death by her sister Claudette Gauvin and brother-in-law Michael Labelle.

Priscilla is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, Roger Lauzon, two children, Donald Lauzon and Marie Chamberlain. Five grandchildren — Zachary Lauzon and wife Tayler, Alex Lauzon, Kayla Keller and husband Robert, Kristen Chamberlain and fiancé Dakota Tarbox, and Cameron Chamberlain. Also four lovely great-grandchildren: Tanner, Rory, Beckett, and Brooks. She is also survived by her sister Janice Labelle, brother Richard Sayer and wife Donna, and brother-in-law Raymond Gauvin, along with nieces, and nephews.
