Priscilla R. Nadeau

Formerly of Old Orchard Beach

Priscilla R. Nadeau, 84, of Florida and formerly of Old Orchard Beach, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022, at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida.

She was born in Biddeford on December 7, 1937, a daughter of Roland and Jeannette (LaCourse) Gagnon. She graduated from St. Joseph's High School, class of 1956.

On June 7, 1958, she married her husband Edmund G. Nadeau.

She was a homemaker at heart, enjoying raising her family. She also worked at the First National Grocery Store in Biddeford, the IGA in Saco and for Dr. Belliveau and Ruben's Insurance Agency. Most recently she was a sales clerk at Youland's Jewelers in Biddeford, retiring in 2003.

Her hobbies included knitting and traveling. She also was a member and past president of the Fremont Club in Biddeford.

In 2020, she moved to Jacksonville, Florida to be with her son Michael.

She was predeceased by her husband Edmund on February 2, 2016 and by one brother Richard Gagnon.

She is survived by her three children Ms. Elaine Marie Athearn, Richard E. Nadeau and his partner Ethan Kendrick and Michael G. Nadeau and his wife Susan, five grandchildren Amanda, Angela, Emma, Brianna and Thomas and one great granddaughter Cadence Rose. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be from 4-7PM Monday, March 28, 2022, at Cote Funeral Home Chapel in Saco. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at St. Margaret's Church in Old Orchard Beach. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Biddeford.
