Richard P. Neault
Waterboro
Richard P. Neault "Dick," 79, of Waterboro, passed away Thursday afternoon on February 9, 2023 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.
He was born in Biddeford on January 10, 1944, a son of Martial and "Peggy" Mary Margaret LeBreton Thibeault. He graduated from Thornton Academy, class of 1962.
Dick enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving his country as Military Police from 1962 to 1966. After the service, he served the City of Saco as a police officer, served the York County Sherriff's Office, and later on worked as a Clerk of Courts for the Superior Court in Alfred.
Dick went back to school earning his Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, working in this career for many years to follow, until finally retiring as manager from the Coast Guard Exchange.
Dick was a proud lifetime member of the Saco Elk's Club. He always enjoyed cooking, games of golf, darts, and trips to the casinos. He loved oldies music, especially the 50s, collecting vinyl records, and model cars. But most of all, Dick loved to spend time with his family and friends, enjoyed going out to eat, making many memories that we will hold on to and cherish forever. He will be sadly missed by many.
He was predeceased by his granddaughter Faith, his great granddaughter Roxanne and his sister Patricia Horrocks.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sylvia (Chevalier) Neault, his three children, Kendra Staples and husband Trampas, Trina Neault, Jamie Neault and wife Catrina. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren, Brandon, Jacob, Cydney, Nathan, Abby, Jacob, Caden, Teddy and wife Azalyn, Cassidy and Hope, his 10 great grandchildren, Everleigh, Elliot, Kierstin, Kacie, Aubrey, Savanna, Aailya, Jalyssa, Gauge and Teddy Jr., his brother in-laws Everett Horrocks and wife Jan, Richard "Chevy" Chevalier and Denise, Jerry Chevalier and wife Sandy, Roger Fournell and wife Sandra, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
